Wildanet is celebrating a double-milestone in its £77m rollout of full fibre broadband in Cornwall as part of Project Gigabit, and has now connected a total of 10,000 premises in the first two phases across the south west and central parts of the region.

VMO2 has connected more than 8,500 additional homes in Burnham-on-Sea to its ultrafast network, as part of its long-term investment into Somerset.
Since 2015, VMO2 has invested around £34.5m to expand its network and bring ultrafast broadband to more than 58,000 homes and businesses across the county.
“With staycations still a staple of the British summer, investing in coastal locations has never been more important,” said Rob Evans, MD of Fixed Network Expansion.
