A recent survey from bOnline has shown that many SMEs are unsure about the availability of altnet in their area, with confusion over the UK’s broadband roll-out strategy.
Yorkshire ISP Pure Broadband has connected 5,000 customers over the past 12 months, hitting the initial targets of its growth plan.
Tony Jopling, who was appointed as Pure Broadband’s MD in mid-2021, entered the role with the target of doubling its growth over the next three years.
He said: “From customer service advisors to technicians, our employees have truly gone above and beyond to show residents across Hull and Yorkshire that there is an alternative to some of the bigger broadband providers right on their doorstep.”
Pure Broadband has also partnered with CityFibre to connect homes in Doncaster and Rotherham, with a further seven cities planned over the next six months, as well as providing services to residents through the Open Fibre Networks Limited (OFNL) platform.
