Connexin has completed the first stage of its Project Gigabit contract for the provision of hyperfast broadband to more than 34,000 rural homes in Nottinghamshire and West Lincolnshire.
ITS's entire Faster Britain footprint will now be available under 'The Stream Wholesale Full Fibre Network', following a link up that will boost Stream Network's plans to aggregate all of the UK's full fibre networks.
Matt Shanahan, CEO of Stream Networks said: "UK communications infrastructure is expanding like never before thanks to government and private investment.
"The number of full fibre projects undertaken by separate companies, all with differing geographical focus, is growing exponentially and it's important the channel has access to all of these networks from one provider."
The Faster Britain footprint covers full fibre broadband and ethernet networks across parts of London, Blackpool, Bristol, Nottingham, Hammersmith and Fulham, Scunthorpe, Liverpool and Tameside.
Phil Lee, Head of Wholesale at ITS added: "By making it more straightforward for partners to access high-quality high-speed connectivity, we are removing the reliance on the incumbent provider and helping to accelerate the digital capabilities of businesses previously held back by inadequate services."
