PXC celebrated a successful annual ‘Night of Ambition’ event in London recently, raising £330,000 for the Ambitious about Autism charity, focused on pledging support to its Assistive Technology initiative which aims to improve access to learning, independence and participation through technology for autistic children and young people.

Four Greater Manchester community groups have been awarded a combined total of £2,000 through TalkTalk’s Future Fibre Fund.
The Salford-based altnet launched the Future Fibre Fund to support local community projects, as it rolls out full fibre in the area.
The Fund received almost 25 applications and TalkTalk judges extended the original funding to accommodate additional, worthy winners.
The successful Future Fibre Fund initiatives in Greater Manchester are: Deaf Rhinos, Oasis Community Hub: MediaCityUK, Liv’s Trust, and Angels United.
Charities and community groups based in Birmingham, Liverpool and Leeds were also invited to apply for one-off donation.
Bronagh McCloskey, Head of CSR at TalkTalk, said: “We are extremely pleased to be supporting four community groups across Greater Manchester with a £500 donation each to help with the important work they do, as we roll out full fibre across the city.”
