A recent survey from bOnline has shown that many SMEs are unsure about the availability of altnet in their area, with confusion over the UK’s broadband roll-out strategy.

VMO2 has connected more than 10k homes in Otley, Menston, Burley-in-Wharfdale and Guiseley in west Yorkshire to its full fibre network.
“With hybrid working here to stay, file sizes expanding, and the world of online gaming only set to grow we’re offering residents the services they need to keep up with the latest twists and turns in tech,” said Director of Construction and Delivery Christopher Matthews.
In July 2021 the company announced it will upgrade its entire fixed network to FTTP technology with completion in 2028.
