A recent survey from bOnline has shown that many SMEs are unsure about the availability of altnet in their area, with confusion over the UK’s broadband roll-out strategy.
Grain has named Watford, Reading and Northampton as the next areas to benefit from the expansion of its fibre broadband network.
The new-build housing sector specialist is currently supplying its fibre optic internet service to over 100 housing developments. Following this announcement, Grain will be active in 46 towns and cities across the UK.
The first phase of Grain’s network rollout will cover 400,000 premises with fibre broadband as part of a 200M Investment.
“This 200m investment is a huge vote of confidence for our regional roll-out phases across the UK,” said Roland Barzegar, CFO at Grain Connect.
“With an independent full fibre network, Grain delivers a dedicated fibre line to each individual premise.”
