Toob enters Worthing, Brighton and Hove

Neos Networks and Oxfordshire County Council have confirmed the completion of their Gigahubs project introducing 192 public service and local authority sites to new 1,500km long gigabit-capable full fibre broadband network, enhancing digital connectivity for residents.

Openreach is continuing to rollout full fibre across the UK, and more than 315,000 homes and businesses in Leeds can now access faster internet, with over 80% of properties connected to the network.

Rolling out broadband infrastructure remains mission critical for the British public, and a new report from the Internet Services Providers’ Association (ISPA UK) shows that 78% believe that everyone in the UK should be able to access high-speed internet. 

Quickline Communications has joined with GreenTheUK and the Royal Forestry Society (RFS) to support the planting of trees in areas closely aligned with its full fibre broadband rollout – including 6,000 trees in north Yorkshire and a further 500 in west Yorkshire.
