A recent survey from bOnline has shown that many SMEs are unsure about the availability of altnet in their area, with confusion over the UK’s broadband roll-out strategy.

toob is investing £7.5m to cover 19k homes in Fleet with a new fibre network. The first residents and businesses are expected to benefit from the service in 2024.
South coast-based toob began its rollout from a base in Southampton, and its move into Fleet follows growth from Hampshire and Surrey into Dorset and Sussex.
Nick Parbutt, CEO, toob, said: “toob has been built on our belief that access to fast, reliable broadband at an affordable price is a necessity in today’s increasingly digital world.”
