Truespeed has invested £9m to expand its full fibre network into north Somerset.
The investment will connect over 8,000 premises with building already underway in two west Bristol areas, Portishead and Clevedon.
Truespeed remains steadfast in its commitment to provide schools and community hubs passed by its network to free broadband for life and has provided over 100 free connections to date.
CEO James Lowther said: “It’s astonishing how many people still struggle with sub-standard connectivity when reliable broadband is an everyday necessity.”
The first customers are expected to go live by early summer 2022.
