A recent survey from bOnline has shown that many SMEs are unsure about the availability of altnet in their area, with confusion over the UK’s broadband roll-out strategy.
Vfast has connected its first customer to fibre in Medway after partnering with CityFibre in 2021 to roll out infrastructure across the area.
Ben Doherty, CTO at Vfast, said: “Internet is becoming a utility and Vfast is working to accelerate the fibre roll out across the UK by partnering with infrastructure providers like CityFibre. We also have our own fibre roll out starting in rural areas within Kent.”
A brand awareness campaign is now going live to build an understanding of the new fibre service. Vfast will be at Medway Pride on the 20th August at Rochester Castle to answer questions from local residents.
Danielle Salvatori, Head of Marketing at Vfast, said: “We want consumers to be aware of all their options when considering their service provider, for some people, customer service is a big issue with their current providers.”
