Wildanet is celebrating a double-milestone in its £77m rollout of full fibre broadband in Cornwall as part of Project Gigabit, and has now connected a total of 10,000 premises in the first two phases across the south west and central parts of the region.

CityFibre has begun work to upgrade Wath upon Dearne’s digital foundations, breaking ground in the town’s Swinton area.
The £31.2m fibre investment will be completed locally by build partner Heneghan & Sons closely collaborating with Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council.
Charles Kitchin, CityFibre’s local Partnership Manager, said: “Wath upon Dearne is getting ready to thrive in the digital age and once the network’s built, it will serve the community’s connectivity needs for years to come.”
When the new network goes live customers will be able to access full fibre enabled services via Vodafone, TalkTalk, Zen, and Giganet.
