Freedom Fibre and Inmanta have signed a multi-year agreement to automate their FTTH services using Inmanta's intent-based service orchestrator, helping meet the growing demands of its customers.
Wildanet will connect close to 17,000 homes and businesses in Cornwall to its full fibre network.
The altnet has partnered with Nokia to accelerate the rollout and will leverage Xantaro’s street cabinet and exchange solutions.
This incorporates Nokia OLT, VIAVI centralised OTDR test head, Out of Band (OOB) Management solution, iLOQ features and more.
Xantaro will also provide professional services to Wildanet, to ensure a professionally configured network with minimal disruption.
Stephen Kingdom, CTO of Fixed Networks at Xantaro, said: “Drawing on our extensive experience with altnets across the UK and our longstanding partnership with Nokia, we will work with Wildanet to accelerate the deployment of fibre and essential connectivity to underserved communities.”
