Wildanet is celebrating a double-milestone in its £77m rollout of full fibre broadband in Cornwall as part of Project Gigabit, and has now connected a total of 10,000 premises in the first two phases across the south west and central parts of the region.

CityFibre recently welcomed Stuart Anderson, MP for Wolverhampton South West, for a tour of its Aldersley Road Fibre Exchange, giving him a closer look at the £50m citywide project.
Anderson, alongside Councillor Sohail Khan, met representatives from CityFibre and build partner, Callan Connect, and were provided demonstrations of the typical build process for fibre.
He said: “Investing in technology such as this will make a monumental difference to residents and businesses throughout the city.”
Bashir Ahmed MBE, Partnership Manager for Wolverhampton at CityFibre, said: “According to recent Hatch research, in Wolverhampton alone, our full fibre network is expected to unlock £222m in productivity and innovation, as well as deliver a £144m increase in house value.”
