Openreach is celebrating the milestone of reaching 90% coverage of its full fibre rollout across Northern Ireland – with the region becoming the first within the Openreach UK network to hit this target.

Zzoomm’s fibre network has now passed 200,000 ready-for-service properties across 29 locations.
This follows its last commercial milestone in April, connecting the 25,000th customer to its network.
CEO Matthew Hare said: “We have continued our strategic approach to build, adding a further 50,000 homes and businesses to the Zzoomm network since passing 150,000 last year.”
“We are welcoming thousands of new customers to Zzoomm each month as we bridge the digital divide for those living in underserved towns and we’re heading towards 30,000 customers.”
