A recent survey from bOnline has shown that many SMEs are unsure about the availability of altnet in their area, with confusion over the UK’s broadband roll-out strategy.
Zzoomm has reported that its broadband take-up in Henley-on-Thames has recently hit one in three.
This was the first area to go live of the altnet’s network, being completed in December 2020.
CEO Matthew Hare said: “The construction of our Full Fibre network in Henley-on-Thames was a watershed moment for local homes and businesses, because the old copper network in the area really held residents back.”
The altnet also announced in July 2023 that within seven months of completion, Sandhurst and Crowthorne take up had surpassed 20%.
