G.Network has appointed Spitfire Network Services as the first wholesale partner on its fibre network.

One million homes and businesses in Scotland can now access Openreach’s fibre network following a project to address 110,000 homes and businesses across Aberdeen city and shire.

Openreach has started work to build a new fibre connection in and around Leiston to address 5,000 properties.

KCOM’s investment in Gunness, North Lincolnshire, means nearly local 400 homes and businesses can now access full fibre.

Five further villages have been connected to Quickline’s network in the latest phase of its North Yorkshire and Lincolnshire rollout.
