BT has been awarded a £26m Project Gigabit contract to connect over 650 primary schools in hard-to-reach places across England with gigabit broadband. 

G.Network is offering to buy new customers out of their existing contracts, covering up to £150 of early termination fees.

Commsworld has won a 10-year contract worth £2.6m with Dundee City Council to transform internet connectivity to 42 schools.
