County Broadband has gone live in 22 new rural communities in Cambridgeshire (nine), Norfolk (eight), Essex (three) and Suffolk (two) in 2024 to date.

Quickline Communications has delivered gigabit broadband to a further 4,500 homes across rural West Yorkshire and the York area through its Project Gigabit build programme.
The first 5,000 homes and businesses can now connect to Openreach’s full fibre network in Perth, through the Scottish Government’s Reaching 100% programme.
Lightning Fibre has made its network builds across Brighton and Hove, Worthing and Lancing ready for service and has connected its first customer in the region.
Increased customer connections saw Freedom Fibre’s revenues increase by 114% to £623,185 for the year ended 30th November 2023.
Ogi and Caerphilly County Borough Council have partnered to bring fibre to the Tredomen Business and Technology Park, which is home to around 30 local businesses.
GoFibre’s full fibre broadband network has over 115,000 homes and businesses Ready for Service across more than 30 local areas in Scotland and the north of England.
Over 11,000 more homes in Huddersfield can now access Virgin Media’s gigabit broadband services for the first time.
Quickline’s full fibre network now extends to the villages of Finningley, Auckley and Blaxton, located close to Doncaster.
Altnet fibre was available to 35.9% of premises as of 27th July 2024, according to thinkbroadband’s latest State of Broadband Report.
