Wildanet is celebrating a double-milestone in its £77m rollout of full fibre broadband in Cornwall as part of Project Gigabit, and has now connected a total of 10,000 premises in the first two phases across the south west and central parts of the region.

Alncom has added a further 350 properties to its FTTP footprint by extending its network build in the village of Lowick to cater for the holiday site of Barmoor Castle Country Park.
Fibre has been ducted to each pitch in the Country Park and the existing FWA network has been removed.
Alncom currently aims to build its full fibre network to cover 50,000 premises in the North East of England.
It has currently passed 25,000 premises, mostly across rural parts of Northumberland, County Durham and the Scottish Borders.
MD Stephen Pinchen said: “We are going above and beyond to connect some of the most rural and hard to reach homes and businesses in Northumberland and the north east, transforming lives and businesses.
“The company’s vision is to bridge the digital divide that has long plagued rural regions like Northumberland”.
