Fibrus is rolling out its network further across rural Cumbria, with 60% more premises gaining access to faster broadband speeds, following the extension of its Project Gigabit contract.

CityFibre has now laid 1,672km of full fibre Internet beneath the streets of Glasgow, enough to stretch the length of the River Clyde ten times.
Paul Wakefield, CityFibre’s Partnership Manager for Glasgow, said: “With our network now live across many areas of the city residents and businesses can take advantage of all that full fibre connectivity has to offer."
Glasgow customers can connect to the new network and access full fibre enabled broadband from a choice of providers including UK launch partner Vodafone as well as TalkTalk, Giganet, Brillband, Brawband and others.
