Cuckoo has declared a sole focus on full fibre broadband and has streamlined its product portfolio. This follows Cuckoo’s move in June 2023 to discontinue copper FTTC products for new customers.

Cuckoo will initially be selling to full fibre customers across the CityFibre network ahead of further national expansion in 2024. The ISP will also be selling full fibre-only packages across Openreach and the networks within the Fern Group later this year.

Cuckoo’s existing copper customer base alongside a small cohort of FTTP customers connected via TalkTalk will be transferred to Home Telecom, from 31st March 2024.

Cuckoo CEO Paul Hellings said: “These changes will allow our teams greater focus on delivering the best possible experience to our customers.

“We've got ambitions to increase our network coverage over the coming months.”
