Wildanet is celebrating a double-milestone in its £77m rollout of full fibre broadband in Cornwall as part of Project Gigabit, and has now connected a total of 10,000 premises in the first two phases across the south west and central parts of the region.

Netomnia is extending its rollout to cover Wrexham and Bristol, making fibre available to a further 159,000 premises.
In Wrexham and the surrounding areas, Netomnia will invest £12m to pass around 40,000 premises, working with deployment partner GForce.
“Marking our third location in Wales, we know that our network will provide real benefits to the area for generations to come,” said CEO Jeremy Chelot.
The altnet is investing a further £47.7m into its fibre rollout in Bristol with work already starting in Downend.
Netomnia will kick off work in the neighbouring communities of Kingswood and Filton in the coming weeks, targeting a total of 159,000 premises in this initial phase.
“We are currently building at a rate of 30,000 premises passed per month, to ensure as many people as possible have access to fast and reliable full fibre broadband,” Chelot added.
