The number of homes able to get gigabit-capable broadband is up to 24.0 million (80% of all UK homes), according to Ofcom’s Connected Nations Spring 2024 update. This is up 78%, from 23.2 million since its update in September 2023.
Netomnia has now made more than 500,000 homes and businesses ready for service, with sister-company YouFibre now serving more than 40,000 customers.
The altnet passed more than 125,000 properties in Q2 of 2023 and is building at a rate of 500,000 homes and businesses per year.
