Wildanet is celebrating a double-milestone in its £77m rollout of full fibre broadband in Cornwall as part of Project Gigabit, and has now connected a total of 10,000 premises in the first two phases across the south west and central parts of the region.

Oxford will become the second major city in Netomnia’s rollout roadmap, as the altnet invests £36m into the area’s digital infrastructure.
Netomnia will provide fibre broadband infrastructure to around 120,000 premises in Oxford and the surrounding areas, also helping to aid the area’s education and research facilities.
“Oxford is a flourishing city with a long and deep heritage of intellectual discovery and invention,” said CEO Jeremy Chelot.
“Our network will contribute to its thriving economy and academic community, helping to drive innovation.”
Netomnia is now actively rolling out its broadband network in 40 towns and cities across the UK.
