Octaplus will begin moving its customers to IPv6 from August 8th, bringing enhanced security and speeds.
IPv6 boasts hosts approximately 340 undecillion unique IP addresses ensuring each connected device can have its dedicated address without the limitations imposed by IPv4's scarcity.
IPv6 also incorporates built-in security features, such as IPsec which encrypts data and ensures a more secure exchange of information over the internet.
Octaplus CEO Gladstone Gonsalves said: “By embracing IPv6, we are taking a proactive step in fostering an improved online experience for our customers.”
