York-based operator UK Fibre Networks has rebranded Fastr Broadband as it continues to roll out its network to 8,000 homes and businesses in its native city centre.
Ogi has invested in its customer care provision, increasing the number of agents available and extending its opening hours to 7-day-a-week coverage.
The refreshed service will see agents available in English and Welsh between 8.00 am and 8.00 pm Monday to Friday and between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm on weekends.
Ogi’s new online pages will include guides on topics from connecting set-top boxes to billing questions and help setting up digital voice services.
Customer Operations Director, Greg Hay, said: “The internet is a vital utility, and accessing support when it isn’t working as expected is critical, especially in the mostly rural areas we serve.”
The altnet has now added over 10,000 customers to its full fibre network.
