Quickline Communications has revealed the full list of communities set to benefit from its full fibre rollout over the next three years, bringing connectivity to a further 360,000 premises, and marking a major milestone in the company’s mission to close the digital divide across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.

Openreach has increased its full fibre footprint by one million premises over two months since the end of February 2025 – an increase that shows the company has connected nearly 55% of UK premises.
Comparison to previous years has shown a steady rise, with a footprint of 15% in July 2021 increasing to 30% in February 2023, to nearly half of UK premises in February 2025.
Currently, the actual FTTP footprint is at 18.3m premises passed according to Richard Tang CEO of Zen Internet as of 24th April, with more full fibre appearing in locations such as the Isles of Scilly and the Scottish Highlands and Islands, in addition to rollout across urban areas.
For the company to reach its 2026 target of 25 million premises passed, it needs to pass a further seven million premises.
Figures are expected to hit 25 million from October 2026 through to January 2027.
