Quickline is continuing to roll out full fibre across Yorkshire and has now connected the Calderdale district, as progress makes pace to boost the network in the region.

Quickline is helping residents in east Yorkshire connect to full fibre broadband, as Project Gigabit rollout continues – with more than 1,350 in Gilberdyke now able to access high speed internet.
Located between York and Hull, Gilberdyke is the latest village to be connected to gigabit-capable broadband, and the remaining properties in the village – around 10% of the community – are set to go live in the coming weeks.
Gilberdyke forms part of the government contract awarded to Quickline last summer, covering the east Riding of Yorkshire and a significant portion of Lincolnshire, including communities across north and north east Lincolnshire.
Julian Chalk, Head of Network Engagement and Enablement at Quickline said: “Gilberdyke is close to home for many of our own colleagues, so we know first-hand the challenges poor connectivity has posed to residents and businesses, and our full fibre network is now delivering gigabit-capable broadband that these communities need.”
