Wildanet is celebrating a double-milestone in its £77m rollout of full fibre broadband in Cornwall as part of Project Gigabit, and has now connected a total of 10,000 premises in the first two phases across the south west and central parts of the region.

O’Connor Utilities has broken ground on a £30m fibre rollout project in St Helens, which it is delivering on behalf of CityFibre.
Work has begun in the Peasley Cross area with the project expected to be completed by 2025.
In St Helens, services will be available from Vodafone TalkTalk, Zen and Giganet, with other partners expected to join the network soon.
Area Manager Julie Derbyshire, said: “Our full fibre will transform the digital capabilities of the town and bring a wealth of benefits to residents and businesses.”
Councillor Andy Bowden, St Helens Borough Council’s cabinet member for environment and transport, added: “This project will be carried out using the ‘dig once’ approach, meaning it will be coordinated with existing road and infrastructure works, helping to minimise disruption.”
