Wildanet is celebrating a double-milestone in its £77m rollout of full fibre broadband in Cornwall as part of Project Gigabit, and has now connected a total of 10,000 premises in the first two phases across the south west and central parts of the region.

SWS Broadband is fast-tracking its network build in two Shropshire villages, Minsterley and Pontesbury, with both due for completion in late Summer 2023.
Chris New, CEO of SWS Broadband, said: “Along with our dedication to delivering services to the very smallest of rural communities, we can fast track our gigabit capable FTTP network, to communities of this size too.
“We will be providing the opportunity for some 2000 customers across these two villages to future-proof their homes and businesses through the benefits that come from a full fibre broadband solution equal to, or better than urban locations in the UK.”
