A recent survey from bOnline has shown that many SMEs are unsure about the availability of altnet in their area, with confusion over the UK’s broadband roll-out strategy.
toob is investing £8m to build its full fibre infrastructure to over 20,000 premises in Waterlooville.
The altnet secured £300m funding in 2023 to increase digital inclusion across the south.
The expansion in Waterlooville follows growth across other areas in Hampshire, Surrey, Dorset, Sussex and Berkshire.
Nick Parbutt, CEO, toob, said: “toob has been built on our belief that access to fast, reliable broadband at an affordable price is a necessity in today’s increasingly digital world.”
