Pulse Fibre has partnered with south west homebuilder Cavanna Homes to deliver full fibre infrastructure to its new homes at Warmwell Rise in Dorset, a community of 140 two-to-four-bedroom homes.
Toob has secured a wayleave agreement with Southampton City Council to provide 18,000 social housing residents with access to full fibre.
A Southampton City Council survey of its Council housing tenants recently revealed that a quarter of respondents never access the internet, with 62% either not having access, or not knowing how to access the internet.
Toob CEO Nick Parbutt said: “As a company, we exist to provide this vital service to the communities in which we operate and I hope that by providing access to our service to the Housing tenants in Southampton we are able to play our role in bridging the digital divide.”
Following the signing of a Wayleave agreement, Toob will roll out its network over the next 18 months.
