Wildanet is celebrating a double-milestone in its £77m rollout of full fibre broadband in Cornwall as part of Project Gigabit, and has now connected a total of 10,000 premises in the first two phases across the south west and central parts of the region.

Truespeed has hit two milestones in its full fibre rollout, passing 100,000 premises and connecting over 21,000 customers.
The Bath-based altnet has focused its investment on boosting the broadband infrastructure in rural villages and market towns.
CEO James Lowther, said: “The south west is one of Britain’s most under-served regions for broadband and we are on a mission to bridge the digital divide.”
Over the last 2 years the company has expanded to villages such as Batheaston, Bathampton and Bathford and extended its coverage across Somerset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.
It has also reached a take-up rate of over 33% within three years and over 50% within five years of making a property ready for service.
