Wildanet is celebrating a double-milestone in its £77m rollout of full fibre broadband in Cornwall as part of Project Gigabit, and has now connected a total of 10,000 premises in the first two phases across the south west and central parts of the region.

Virgin Media has made full fibre available to more than 24,000 additional homes and businesses in Wirral.
The network has been built on behalf of nexfibre, which is investing £4.5bn to deliver high speed FTTH connections to five million homes across the UK by 2026.
It recently passed the milestone of a total of one million premises passed and ready for service.
Virgin Media O2 is using this next-generation network to deliver its broadband and TV Stream services to homes and businesses in the area.
Rajiv Datta, CEO at nexfibre said: “nexfibre’s multi-million pound investment in Wirral will enable thousands of households and businesses to access the benefits of full fibre broadband, including being able to participate in the local economy and connect with the community.”
