Netomnia has passed over 110,000 premises in Liverpool that are ready for service for connection to the company’s expanded network, which started in 2022 and now covers areas including Stoneycroft and Aintree.

Virgin Media O2 has made full fibre broadband available to more than 13,000 additional homes and businesses in York.
The network has been built on behalf of nexfibre, which is investing £4.5bn to FTTH connections to 5 million homes across the UK by 2026.
Rajiv Datta, CEO at nexfibre said: “We continue on our mission to build and expand our network in suburban and semi-rural areas, and play our part in helping to close the digital divide and boost the UK economy.”
nexfibre is a joint venture between InfraVia Capital Partners, Liberty Global and Telefónica and is financed with £4.5bn of equity and debt investment. It will initially roll out fibre to five million homes not currently served by Virgin Media O2’s network by 2026, with the opportunity to expand to an additional 2 million homes.
