The number of homes able to get gigabit-capable broadband is up to 24.0 million (80% of all UK homes), according to Ofcom’s Connected Nations Spring 2024 update. This is up 78%, from 23.2 million since its update in September 2023.
YouFibre has doubled its customer base in the last five months, passing the 50,000-connection milestone.
The altnet now has customers in over 70 towns across the UK, providing internet to customers in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales this year.
