Grain is bringing faster broadband to Burton-on-Trent, in a major upgrade that will transform internet speeds for residents who will get dedicated full fibre connection.

Digital Infrastructure is expanding its network in South Yorkshire with work set to begin in Thurnscoe, Barnburgh, Bolton upon Dearne, Goldthorpe, and Harlington this month.
The company will work alongside broadband retailer and sister company, BeFibre, to move a team of engineers into the area, to begin work to get homes ready for service.
Thurnscoe and the surrounding areas are expected to be ready in Autumn 2023.
Chief Customer and Operations Officer, Louise Elliott, said: “400,000 addresses are already part of Digital Infrastructure’s fully designed base, and over 100,000 are now ready for connection across the UK.”
