Gigaclear and Essex County Council have reached a settlement agreement in relation to the legal proceedings concerning broadband delivery contracts in Essex.

Urmston is the next location in Freedom Fibre’s rollout roadmap, with the altnet set to invest £9m to connect 25,000 premises in the area.
Freedom Fibre engineers are on location to undertake surveying of the town and establish a rollout plan, with the build set to begin by the end of the month.
Chief Delivery Officer, Tony Moore, said: “Whether you’re working from home, running a business, or have a house full of games-obsessed teenagers, fibre broadband will unleash so much potential for households and businesses in the area."
