A recent survey from bOnline has shown that many SMEs are unsure about the availability of altnet in their area, with confusion over the UK’s broadband roll-out strategy.

Somerset will benefit from a broadband boost as altnet Truespeed has begun rolling out its full fibre network in Glastonbury, Shepton Mallet and Street.
The Bath-based ISP is looking to connect 15,000 premises with 600 customers having already signed up.
Newly appointed CEO James Lowther said: "Access to ultrafast, reliable broadband is an essential part of modern day working and family life.
"In concert with the local communities of Glastonbury, Street and Shepton Mallet, we're working to deliver broadband that will truly benefit residents and businesses alike."
