A recent survey from bOnline has shown that many SMEs are unsure about the availability of altnet in their area, with confusion over the UK’s broadband roll-out strategy.
Grain is extending its rollout to Blyth, Northumberland, where the average download speed currently sits between 43Mb and 148Mb.
The work in Blyth adds to the other north east areas already addressed by Grain’s rollout, including Newcastle, Wallsend, Whitley Bay, North Shields, and South Shields.
Earlier this month the altnet announced its network was going live across Hull, addressing 20,000 homes and businesses in the City.
Tracy Karam, Head of Sales and Marketing at Grain said: “Our goal is to make Full Fibre broadband accessible to all.”
