Pulse Fibre rolls out free broadband initiative in south west

More than 5,000 additional homes in Whitby can access Virgin Media’s full fibre speeds of 2Gbps for the first time.

Alncom has helped to create a training programme for local Northumberland students to learn some of the skills required to deploy fibre broadband, alongside gaining an understanding of how the internet gets into their homes.

CityFibre has connected the first customers in Suffolk to its network, helping more than 80,000 residents across rural areas access full fibre broadband, funded by a £100m award as part of the government’s Project Gigabit. 

GoFibre has completed the build of a new full fibre network in Harbottle, in the latest development to deliver broadband across north Northumberland and Teesdale.
