Grain is bringing faster broadband to Burton-on-Trent, in a major upgrade that will transform internet speeds for residents who will get dedicated full fibre connection.

CityFibre is investing £10m to bring fibre connectivity to almost every home and business across Newark.
Construction is being delivered by Trust Utility Management on behalf of CityFibre and in collaboration with Nottinghamshire County Council, Newark and Sherwood District Council.
The project is expected to reach completion by mid-2024 but the first services will go live sooner.
Area Manager Dominika Walker said: “Newark is now ready to thrive in the digital age. Once the network’s built, it will serve the community’s connectivity needs for decades to come.”
Portfolio holder for Economic Development and Visitors at Newark and Sherwood District Council, Councillor Rhona Holloway, added: “Full fibre connectively is vital to secure and strengthen Newark’s future, levelling it with other key towns and cities across the country creating a faster digital age.”
