A recent survey from bOnline has shown that many SMEs are unsure about the availability of altnet in their area, with confusion over the UK’s broadband roll-out strategy.
Grain has begun connecting premises in Hull, with its build addressing more than 20,000 homes and businesses in the City.
The altnet’s fibre optic network uses Point-to-Point architecture, as opposed to a Passive Optical Network setup.
This enables Grain to provide each household with its own dedicated fibre cable.
Tracy Karam, Head of Sales and Marketing at Grain said: “Our goal is to make Full Fibre broadband accessible to all.”
